Oxford weave: A popular classic as a shirt. Unfortunately, hard to find as trousers.
Pleasantly airy, soft, dense and durable.
Oxford weaves are known for being used for pleasantly soft, robust shirts. The fabric has a fine-grained surface and is woven like a grid. That makes it particularly airy. It looks like flannel without being heavy, and it is resilient and hard-wearing. It’s amazing that Oxford fabric trousers have been hard to find until now – the fabric is ideal for the summer.
Much more lively than plain colours, but just as versatile to combine.
Genuine Oxford fabric is always subtly mottled, because it consists of a base colour as well as the warp threads which are always white. The typical blue colour known from business shirts looks summery and fresh; a wonderful addition to your wardrobe. French slanted pockets. Buttoned welt back pockets. Pocket openings and belt loops with decorative hand-stitched look. Divided waistband at the back for easy adjustment of the width.
