Versatile and beautiful: The single-handed pressure cooker in award-winning design.

High-quality materials and workmanship from Carl Schmid Sohn™, since 1829. Winner of 5 awards*.

This pressure cooker can’t be compared with the design and function of conventional pressure cookers. Forget about chunky handles and closures. A single lid button is all you need with this award-winning pressure cooker: Use it to set the pressure level, to release steam and to conveniently open and close the cooker with just one hand. It’s no wonder that this modern pressure cooker (4.5 litres) has won 5 international awards*. Among other things, it has won the Kitchen Innovation Award 2019 for functionality, innovation, product benefits, design and material properties.
Fast or slow cooking with the optimal amount of steam pressure for every dish.
Cook delicate vegetables and fish gently in hot steam (instead of in water) using the slow setting (600 hPa overpressure). This way, vitamins and nutrients are much better preserved and everything retains its own intense flavour. For meat, soups, stews, potatoes etc. use the time-saving quick setting (900 hPa overpressure).
For all hob types, including induction.
Pressure release without the hassle of cooling under cold water.
Also makes a versatile 6-litre stainless steel pot.
Made of 18/8 stainless steel with internal measurement scale. Lid with plastic details. Measures 28 x 23cm (11" x 9.1")) (diameter x H), weighs 4.2kg (9.3 lbs). Dishwasher safe (except steam pressure lid). By Carl Schmid Sohn™, a traditional German company with almost 200 years of experience.
