Cashmere Suit

20.6 ounces pure cashmere. A gentle way to wind down after a hard day.

From the Pro-Idee Special Shop Fashion Classics

20.6 ounces pure cashmere. A gentle way to wind down after a hard day.

The cashmere suit by Johnstons of Hawick/Scotland. Limited edition.

The downy cashmere knit is as light as a feather yet wonderfully warm and luxuriously comfortable – even on bare skin. You won’t need a blanket to snuggle up in while you relax. Simply tighten the drawstrings at the hood and trousers to keep out all wintry draughts.
Finest cashmere quality – manufactured by traditional Scottish knitters.
Only the downy undercoat of the Cashmere goat– each hair measuring at least 38mm and just 15 microns in diameter – is good enough for Johnstons to spin into this quality 2-ply yarn. For more than 200 years this prestigious firm has only been producing premium cashmere products. So it is not unusual that this suit is the result of a top-notch fully-fashioned knit that will stay in shape. The jacket has a cosy hood with drawstrings and a concealed zip fastener. The softly draped trousers are fashionably loose with a comfy drawstring waist. Jacket and trousers elaborately finished with ribbed cuffs. Wear this prized cashmere suit at home or pair the jacket with many items already in your wardrobe. It’s great with a skirt or jeans. Don’t hesitate, as the number of these luxury suits is strictly limited each year.

Comfortably wide, straight cut. Length jacket in size 10: 54cm (21 1/4ʺ). Total length trousers: in size 10: 95cm (37 3/5ʺ). Weighs 584g (20.6 oz) in size 12. Colour: Light-grey heather. 100% cashmere. Hand wash only.

Johnstons – Quality for over 200 years.

In 1798, Alexander Johnstons took over a water mill on the bank of the River Lossie. And it is still the headquarters of the Johnstons Company to this day. He started out working with linen, then with wool. The next generation expanded its expertise by using what were then considered to be exotic animal fibres from around the world, including cashmere. And so the company quickly made a name for itself as one of Scotland’s most sought-after knitters. The discerning royal family and Lord Lovat are among its customers. As a tribute to the rich family tradition, knitwear from delicate fibres is still made by hand. And today in particular, these small, lavish editions are much more valuable than the mass-produced goods typically knitted on super-fast machines. Cashmere quality which you will enjoy for years to come. And which can only be found in the world’s finest shops.
