The English sneaker for English weather.

Waterproof and breathable thanks to Waxed cotton. From sports shoe specialist Norman Walsh.

The “Ensign” models are classics from Norman Walsh. The English sneaker specialist designed them in 1981 for the runners of the Bolton Harriers who participated in the New York Marathon. Today these shoes are in vogue again as retro sneakers and are bang on-trend.
Sneaker specialist meets wax specialist.
Since 1864, Hally Stevenson, also based in the UK, has been coating jackets, waistcoats and hats with wax to protect them against the English weather. Now the proven coating is finally also used for sneakers: It makes the outer fabric and suede naturally waterproof and breathable – even better than many membranes.

8-eyelet lacing. Upper: Waxed cotton and suede leather. Lining: Nylon. Insole and outsole: EVA. Made in the UK.
