Three times lighter than cotton: Paper cotton, the vegetable high-tech yarn.

With the best climate properties, UV protection and antibacterial effect. By Junghans 1954.

The “recipe” for paper cotton comes from Japan, where paper textiles have a long tradition: An extremely thin textile paper made of Manila hemp is twined with cotton fibres to create an amazingly strong yarn.
Three times more tear-resistant than cotton, twice as tear-resistant as sisal.
Further advantages of paper cotton are its temperature-regulating ability, the dry feel and bacteria-inhibiting effect. Ideal on sunny days: The material absorbs 85% of harmful UV radiation. Your new polo shirt is environmentally friendly to make – and completely biodegradable.

Classic straight cut. Length in size 40: 69.5cm (27.4"). 55% cotton, 45% paper. Hand wash.
