The original Goosey’s polo shirt – a golfing favourite for over 60 years.
Made in Mortara/Italy. In “filo di Scozia®” cotton.
In addition to this original Goosey’s polo shirt, Gallo Tessile in Mortara/Italy now makes a large number of (much more expensive) polo shirts for well-known luxury brand “manufacturers”. This is not surprising, since hardly any other manufacturer knows as much about polo shirts. The company was founded in 1884 and has been making polo shirts since 1954 (in the early years under the brand name Gallotex and later under the name Goosey’s).
Keeps its shape for years, feels delightful against your skin.
Only really finely twisted, long-staple mercerised cotton is used, famous in Italy as “Filo di Scozia®”. The yarn, with its subtle sheen and firm texture, is knitted into a fine, light piqué that is wonderfully soft, yet very cool – ideal for sporting activities and for hot summer weather.
Fitted. Classic cut – with a fashionable look due entirely to the colours.
The original Goosey’s polo shirts have a customary straight cut that is classic. The collar is shaped using fine, firm stitches. It has a fabric facing for durability and a button panel with double facing which always lies flat. Sunglasses or notes are always handy in the breast pocket – something that is often missing in other polo shirts.
Classic straight cut. 100% cotton. Machine wash.
