Alan Paine Men’s Cricket Jumper

From the Pro-Idee Special Shop Fashion Classics

Alan Paine invented the legendary cricket jumper. And then reinvented it.

The renaissance of a fashion classic – at a pleasingly affordable price.

In 1907, the traditional company from Godalming, Surrey, made the first – and to this day one of the best – cable patterned jumpers.
Now the legend is back.
Cricket jerseys are currently celebrating their fashion comeback. The “new versions” are made of pure cotton, have an improved fit, but otherwise still have the fine English style. You are wearing a piece of fashion history that is about to conquer the present day.
Very British: Edward VIII also wore it.
The gifted knitwear producer Alan Paine decorated the otherwise plain-coloured jumpers with various club colours, so they were soon worn by members of famous cricket, tennis and rowing clubs. And quickly became one of the first must-haves in the fashion world.

Classic cable pattern jumper with contemporary fit. Length in size 40: 70cm (27.6"). Colour: Off-white, collar in blue/green/blue. 100% cotton. Machine washable.
