The original lumberjack jacket of the U.S. forestry companies. By C.C. Filson.

Naturally warm. Water repellent. Indestructible. 100% virgin wool.

Warm, windproof, water repellent, breathable and extremely hard-wearing. The twenty-four oz. heavy virgin wool makes this classic loved by fishermen, sailors, campers, etc. They can put their equipment in the seven pockets. Two side openings provide for warm hands. It is no wonder that the US forestry companies have equipped their lumberjacks with this “Mackinaw Cruiser” from Filson since 1940.
Designed in Seattle in 1914. To this day, the jacket is “Made in USA”.
The incredibly dense fabric is supported by four large front pockets. The two-ply back section is cleverly designed: Not only for additional cold protection but also as a pocket, closable on two sides, for a tablet, map, newspaper, etc. In the USA, connoisseurs love the “backpack for light things”. With sewn-on pocket for up to three pens and a spacious inner pocket for valuable items. Slash pockets behind the front pockets. Button panel with six buttons.

Straight, comfortable cut. 100% virgin wool. Dry clean only.

First gold prospectors, then lumberjacks.

When the Yukon Gold Rush led many fortune seekers through Seattle, shopkeeper Clinton C. Filson realised he could make a business: The men needed an appropriate outfit. The rush was over after a few years, but the lumberjacks of the region had learned to appreciate the jackets of the company founded in 1897. Filson developed his cruiser shirt especially for them.
