The cutting board for life. Each one a unique handmade piece.

A masterpiece made from head wood. Crafted in Germany.

Cannot be compared with any conventional cutting board. Each of these massive head wood mosaic boards is a masterpiece of superior aesthetics and longevity. Made of elaborately handcrafted oak and maple wood. Each one is unique – and a purchase that will last a lifetime.
Extremely resilient, cut-resistant and protects knife blades.
Unlike the usual longitudinally-cut wood, head wood is cut across the trunk and into the wood fibre. This makes the age rings visible on the surface and gives the design boards their beautiful grain. And most importantly, since the wood fibres run vertically instead of horizontally, they are not damaged when cutting on the board, but merely displaced. After a short time, they straighten up again. This keeps your board effectively intact and your good knives sharp for much longer.
Naturally antibacterial. For life.
Tannins and other constituents of the wood repel bacterial contaminants. In addition, moisture and odours can escape faster from the upright fibres than from longitudinally processed wooden boards.
Native woods from sustainable sources.
The valuable maple and oak wood comes from German cultivation and is supplied by regional sawmills. To clean, simply wash the board with mild soapy water, wipe briefly and let it dry standing up. After-care: Rub with cutting board oil (sold separately) about every 2 - 3 weeks.
