Bubble waffles – also called egg waffles – have been part of the Hong Kong and Guangzhou culinary scene for decades. The irresistible treat has now reached us via the USA and is a real trend snack in ice cream parlours and at food festivals. Traditionally, the voluminous waffles are baked in pans over a coal fire. This egg waffle maker makes it much easier and ensures consistently perfect results.

Just fill it with batter (recipes included), close the waffle maker and turn it over. This way, the batter is optimally distributed in the egg-shaped moulds. After 3 - 5 minutes, an egg waffle with a diameter of 18cm (7.1") is ready: With crisp and golden-brown edges and soft and fluffy middles. The waffles can be easily removed from the non-stick coated cast aluminium plates.
