When Grethe Meyer and Ibi Trier Mørch created these designer glasses in the late 1950s, they were an expression of a changing lifestyle. Traditional meal rituals became more casual, cookware came to the table directly from the oven, ... And suddenly the same glass could be used in everyday life and on festive occasions. The STUB glass has lost none of its timeliness up to today. A good reason for Holmegaard – the Danish purveyor to the court – to reissue this designer classic.
