The sharpness and edge retention of large Damascus knives – now also available as peeling and vegetable knives.

German quality. At a pleasantly affordable price.

There’s no comparison to conventional kitchen knives, which are often punched out of plain steel. Both sides of these exclusive peeling and cutting knives feature 32 layers of rust-resistant and flexible Damascus steel compacted to a 1.5mm thick Damascus blade (2.5mm is usual). The extremely hard core made of high-alloyed carbon steel (VG-10 steel, hardness 59-61 HRC*) guarantees the exceptional edge retention (52 HRC* is common). What’s more, these knives come at a very good price.
Ice-hardened, thinly sharpened and finely polished steel.
Ultra-thin fruit and vegetable peelings. Dice an onion or carrot with precision, while hardly feeling any resistance. Even meat and poultry are properly filleted in a jiffy, and ripe tomatoes can be sliced without being crushed.
Ergonomic handles made of chic olive wood.
The oiled olive wood is robust and hard-wearing. Hand wash only.
The right knife for every task.
Partly hand-made in over 35 production steps by knife manufacturer Gehring.
