The fountain pen that made American history.

Available again: The Esterbrook pen, a legend of 19th and 20th century American politics and culture.

Abraham Lincoln, John F. Kennedy and Lyndon B. Johnson signed off laws using the classic Esterbrook. Disney legend Carl Barks used Esterbrook nibs to create magnificent figures for the Duck family. And Peanuts creator Charles M. Schulz gave the gang in Snoopy & Co. clear contours with it. Now you too can let your letters, manuscripts and sketches flow from the pen with cult status.
Long missed – now reproduced again.
Exactly 160 years after the company was founded – and 50 years after the company disappeared from the market – the traditional brand was revived by Kenro Industries in 2018. In a revised form, this E106 fountain pen embodies the top models from Esterbrook’s heyday.
Nostalgic charm – state-of-the-art.
Well-proportioned, silky-smooth and with a deep black shine, the gently rounded precious resin body lies comfortably in the hand, balanced perfectly. You can open the screw cap of the protective lid in no time at all. Chrome-plated metal rings surround the fine thread on the pen and give the fingers optimum grip. The nib is made of durable high quality PVD-coated steel made in Germany and adapted for modern writing comfort. It glides smoothly and very quietly over any paper.
Available separately: True to the original nib – as in the Esterbrook master model.
The stroke and writing feel are exactly the same as with the historical model. Easily interchangeable. Less comfortable – but true to the original.
Can be used with ink reservoir or ink cartridge.
Both are possible. 1 ink cartridge is supplied: You always have a spare. The high-quality tail unit ensures an even ink flow in both versions. Suitable for all commercially available inks and ink cartridges. The pen holder measures 149mm (5.9") including the screw cap, 127mm (5") without cap. At grip height 15mm (0.59") in diameter. Weighs 26g (0.92 oz.). Nib width M. Body made of precious resin. Pocket clip: Palladium. Incl. 1 ink cartridge in elegant Esterbrook case. Made in the USA.

Included in delivery: Esterbrook fountain pen, PVD-coated steel nib, screw cap, ink cartridge.

Once a global leader.
In 1858 the “United States Steel Pen Manufacturing Company” was founded in Camden, New Jersey, by British-born visionary Richard Esterbrook. In its heyday, the company was one of the world’s leading pen manufacturers, producing and selling over 200 million pens a year.
