Traditional Swedish characters evoke a wonderful Christmas spirit.
Decorated and painted by hand in a typical Ruth Vetter design. Each figure is unique.
Tomten Martin and his wife Tomten Lollo are traditional Swedish gnomes. These friendly characters are said to live in farming households, watching over humans and animals. At Christmas, they help to distribute gifts. Traditionally, a bowl of milk is left out in the house so the little “tomte” can keep up their strength.
A delightful decoration on a windowsill, table or mantelpiece.
With red pointed hat pulled down, wrapped in thick knitted coats and mittens, these eye-catching ornaments will make you smile whatever the weather.
Individually crafted from sturdy polyresin that looks like stone and hand-painted with oil paints.
The diligent hand finishing of each piece results in a slightly varying colour effect and individual details in clothing and hairstyle. Each figure therefore has its own character. "She" measures approx. 19cm (7 1⁄2") in height, "He" approx. 21cm (8 1⁄3") in height. They weigh 400g (14 oz) and 500g (17.6 oz) respectively. Simply wipe clean.
