With the interiors trend towards natural, warm and homely materials, wickerwork is on the rise again. Unlike baskets made of straw or raffia, these do not bend or break. They are wonderfully flexible and always return to their original shape. Moreover, the soft paper weave does not leave scratches on delicate surfaces.
In Asia, wickerwork made of paper has a tradition of more than 1,000 years.
The intertwining of the fine paper strands is done according to a traditional technique and requires a lot of practice. Just like weaving: It must not become too tight or so loose that the baskets lack stability.

Sizes of 3 x small basket set: 14cm (5.5") H/14cm (5.5") in diameter, 18cm (7.1") H/18cm (7.1") in diameter and 22cm (8.7") H/22cm (8.7") in diameter. Sizes of 2 x medium-sized basket set: 22cm (8.7") H/28cm (11") in diameter and 24cm (9.4") H/31cm (12.2") in diameter. The large basket measures 50cm (19.7") H/40cm (15.7") in diameter.
