Design item, seat, adorable housemates: Life-sized sheep sculptures.

Finest craftsmanship made from genuine sheepskin and solid beech wood. By Meier, Germany – since 1948.

These sheep sculptures are enchanting housemates with their soft curly wool, their charmingly relaxed looks and natural appearance. You can find the sheep from this manufacturer in luxury department stores in Berlin, Paris, New York and Hong Kong. They have even become legendary after having found homes in the studios of famous fashion designers, industrialists, artists and bon viveurs.
Artfully crafted and entirely handmade.
Touch the thick, naturally-grown white wool and feel its wonderful cosiness. Its 50mm (2″) thickness softly envelops the head and body. The robust head is milled from solid beech wood. The surface is carefully smoothed, preserving the fine grain which authentically underlines the facial features. The ears are made of light brown cowhide and kept in shape thanks to the 2mm thick texture. Large black pupils add a lifelike eye expression.
Not a toy, but a luxurious design element – perfect also as a stool
and storage bench.
Four solid wood legs ensure great stability. The woolly sheep are comfortably upholstered and are the perfect seat to move where needed – while on the phone, getting dressed and as an extra seat at larger gatherings. Also a charming eye-catcher in the hallway to lay coats and welcome your guests.
Two sizes – max. capacity 100kg (220 lbs) or 80kg (176 lbs).
A sturdy substructure in solid wood is what makes these seats so robust. In a choice of 80 x 30 x 80cm (31.5″ x 11.8″ x 31.5″), weight 16kg (35 lbs), bears a max. 100kg (220 lbs), seat height approx. 58cm (22.8″). Or size 60 x 24 x 60cm (23.6″ x 9.4″ x 23.6″) (L x W x H), weight 9kg (20 lbs), bears a max. 80kg (176 lbs), seat height approx. 48cm (18.9″). Brush up with a soft brush.

The solid wood substructure is extremely sturdy, i.e. these sheep can also be used as a stool.

Already in its 3rd generation, the family business from Baden-Württemberg makes animal sculptures of the highest-quality.

Founded in 1948, the Meier company primarily made rocking horses – purely made with natural materials and with almost no help from machines. Like in the early days, the founder’s grandchildren still insist on quality craftsmanship. Nowadays, the assortment is much larger – and so is the worldwide community of collectors and fans of the items. The life-sized sheep were developed in 1979 and are still the stars of their product range.
