Elk Biscuit Tray or Rabbit Cress Tray

  • Versatile use – also to serve small snacks, nuts, fruit, chocolates, ...
  • Lovingly made and one of a kind.
  • Included: Biscuit cutter and recipe.
  • The springtime equivalent: The charming cress tray with rabbit.

Far from the usual Christmas kitsch: The enchanting biscuit tray with elk silhouette.

By Side by Side, a cooperation of young designers and the Caritas Wendelstein workshops for people with a disability.

As if just arriving at its feeding spot, with the nose tilted down, the elk seems to be delightfully sniffing the treats. And even once all the biscuits have been eaten – this tray is just too beautiful to put straight back into the cupboard.
Versatile use – also to serve small snacks, nuts, fruit, chocolates, ...
Fill with potpourri, small baubles, some glitter – or also simply a tray for keys, your smartphone, loose change, … – it makes a decorative eyecatcher on your sideboard, shelf or windowsill, ...
Lovingly made and one of a kind.
The base is a piece of 10mm (0.4") thick, oiled Norway maple. No boards are identical – the natural wood grain and the individual shade of the wood make each board unique. The laser-cut elk silhouette made of MDF composite is simply placed into the milled groove and stays in place without any glue or screws. A second groove defines the position for the porcelain tray. Thanks to the custom-fit ridge in the bottom, it sits securely and does not slip. Awarded with the FORM Design Award 2010. Design: Jette Scheib, Haarlem, the Netherlands.
Included: Biscuit cutter and recipe.
