The stylish answer to common cable knits: Traditional Aran pattern knitted in England.
By Peregrine exclusively for Fashion Classics.
There is plenty of knitwear around with cable stitch. However, this knitwear contains the symbolic Aran reliefs instead of random made-up patterns. For hundreds of years, they have been knitted on the eponymous islands. The “cable” symbolises the ropes of fishing boats, and is considered a sign of good luck and symbolic of safety.
Rustic chunky look, yet surprisingly soft.
The selected wool originates from Spanish merino sheep, where it is sourced from animals who have not been subjected to the mulesing procedure. It is warm and comfortably soft, while robust and durable.
Knitting tradition in family ownership, since 1796.
Select quality and traditional handicraft meet innovative spirit and modern design in the Peregrine factory in Manchester. The cardigan is fashionably short and slim fitting, with a collarless round neckline, purl knitted cuffs and hem and buttons in wood look.
