30-fine-gauge knit made of Pashmina cashmere and silk. By Pashma, India.

There are very few knitters left in the world who have mastered the laborious and very complicated knitting process using 30 needles per inch (a maximum of 21 for the common fine knit). It is considered the finest in the world – the same goes for the cashmere used here:
Pashmina, the soft chest feathers of the Tibetan ‘Changra’ mountain goat.
The precious rarity accounts for only 0.1% of the globally available cashmere; it has a fibre length of over 40mm (1.5″) and a fineness of less than 14 microns. When cashmere goats shed their winter coats in the spring, only about 100g of the fluffy, delicate wool can be combed out per goat. The processing with silk provides an elegant sheen and a print in brilliant colours.
Exclusive print, applied colour by colour through manual screen printing.
The Indian cashmere label Pashma has specialised in the production of unique prints. Each season, the design team is busy creating new motifs and experimenting with innovative technologies. The manual application varies the colour saturation in line with the pattern – from lightly tinted shades to brightly coloured calyxes.
Silky smooth and wonderfully soft.
Once you run your fingers over the even surface of the finely knitted fabric, you’ll find it hard to believe that it is a printed motif: No tangible colour application, no rough texture, no stiffness – the pullover is as soft as you would expect from cashmere silk.

Feminine, waisted fit with a wide crew neck. Length in size 12: 55.5cm (21.8″). Colour: Black/Off-white/Red. 55% cashmere, 45% silk. Dry clean.
