On-trend and rarely so authentic: The traditional worker’s boots from Portugal.
Indestructible like the original from the 1950s.
Since the 1950s, this sturdy and comfortable boot has been worn by generations of Portuguese farmers, industrial, construction and shipyard workers. With the trend for rustic workwear, the casual boot is now conquering the fashion capitals of Europe.
2mm (0.1") thick cowhide with durable sole made of recycled lorry and airplane tyres.
The leather is purely vegetable tanned. Undyed but waxed to make it dirt and water-repellent, it darkens with time and develops the patina dearly coveted by connoisseurs. The sole is extremely durable, abrasion resistant and contributes to sustainability.
The elaborate method is usually reserved for expensive business shoes. Goodyear welted boots are extremely rare. A metal hinged spring and the flexible leather frame – durable sewn into the insole – make them particularly flexible. A world of difference to mass-produced boots that are simply glued.
Indestructible for years. And comfortable all day.
Your foot creates its own, fantastically comfortable footbed in the flexible insole made of cork and memory foam.
Six-eyelet lacing. Comfortable width G for normal feet. Upper, lining and insole: Leather. Outsole: Rubber. Made in Portugal.
