Which dressing gown does the man wear who is famous for making the noblest morning gowns?
The production of high-quality linens and morning gowns has been a family tradition at the Derek Rose company for decades. But although Mr. Rose has the best selection at his disposal, he prefers to wear this “Triton” terry cloth gown – because it’s both cosy and elegant, comfortable, warm and easy to care for.
Morning gowns that easily absorb moisture are usually very heavy – but this one isn’t.
The Triton is so light because its exterior is made of velvety soft velours. The inside has densely packed soft-twist loops which instantly absorb moisture from the skin without being heavy or bulky. The Triton is particularly long-lasting and tough. (Mr. Rose knows customers who have been wearing their first Triton for over 20 years!) Front edges with a broad border, shawl collar, 2 pockets, long belt – everything is neatly top-stitched several times.
Length in size 40: 127cm (50″). 100% cotton. Machine wash. (Wash separately the first few times as the morning gown may shed a bit of lint due to the fluffy quality.)
