52 ridges per inch: Finer corduroy is really hard to find.
As elegant as velvet. By Duca Visconti, Italy.
This is one of the few pairs of corduroy trousers that you can even wear to the office because it takes a second look to see the extra fine texture. With 52(!) ridges per inch this corduroy is more than 4 times finer than what’s known as “fine corduroy” (12 ridges per inch). Furthermore, the closely placed ridges don’t flatten readily. Additionally, the woven fabric is a lot more resistant to worn patches than you would expect from corduroy.
Hardly creases and with a long-lasting shape and colour.
The fabric comes from Duca Visconti, one of the best velvet and corduroy weavers in Italy. The comfortable trousers are tailored by Hoal, a traditional company from Upper Franconia. The waistband is stretchy on the inside and prevents a shirt from becoming un-tucked.
Two slanted pockets on the side. Two buttoned banded pockets at the back. One secret pocket on the inside, at the waistband.
Slim, on-trend flat front style with narrow leg width at hem: 41cm (16.1″) in size 34″R. Inseam in size 34″R: 83cm (32.7″). Colour: Mid Blue. 97% cotton, 3% elastane. Machine wash.
