Hollington Linen Jacket
Stylishly elegant on hot days: The linen sports jacket by Patric Hollington.
As light and airy as a shirt. But much more polished.
Linen has always been the best way to dress light and airy. It absorbs moisture much more quickly and wicks it away just as fast so you’ll feel more refreshed. Plus its natural elasticity allows you to move freely.
Made the typical Hollington way without a lining.
The Parisian fashion designer with Irish roots is one of the pioneers of the clear “unconstructed” look (several of his designs are even shown in the fashion collection of the Louvre). His linen gets by without any stiff padding and inlays. Wide decorative stitching on the stand-up collar, edges and pockets adds the necessary firmness. The timeless puristic style with its unconventional stand-up collar is casually elegant.
Exactly right for dinners, opening events, parties, etc. Or in a creative job.
Whenever a classic jacket may appear too formal, you will love this one – even on your days off. As an avowed “pocket fan”, Hollington has incorporated 4 (!) zipped inside pockets into the doubled front section. With a back pleat for freedom of movement.
Straight cut. Length in size 40: 76.4cm (30.1"). The black colour looks fresh thanks to the added mottled grey. 95% linen, 5% elastane. Contains non-textile parts of animal origin (black horn buttons). Handwash.
