As formal as a traditional business shoe, but much more airy.
The hand-braided derby made from fine calfskin. By Cordwainer, Spain.
Hand-braided around the last instead of simply stamped by a machine, this shoe has countless real ventilation openings. The perforation of the lining too ensures that it does not block the airflow, as unfortunately often happens with many braided shoes with a normal lining.
The air circulates without hindrance – so your feet can breathe.
Hand-braided leather shoes made in Spain can easily cost £500 or more for the upmarket brands. These shoes however, cost considerably less, without compromising on quality.
Traditionally welted using the Goodyear method.
The fine calfskin is wonderfully flexible and smooth so it surrounds the foot without pinching. An antique finish with dark shades gives the braids a particularly three-dimensional look. 3-eye lacing. Supplied with spare laces and a shoe bag.
Upper, lining, insole and outer sole: Leather. Made in Spain. Exclusive to Fashion Classics.
