The original Breton fisherman’s sweater: Made by Saint James for 130 years.
Densely knit for warmth and comfortably elastic.
Over the last 100 years, this maritime classic has been worn by the French navy, legendary film stars and numerous celebrities all over the world. Even notable Parisian fashion designers combine the original from Brittany with their wickedly expensive couture creations.
Tried and tested at sea. Practical on land.
Traditional and fit for work, this striped pullover sits close to the body, but is comfortably elastic. Even without the addition of synthetic fibres. The special, fine ribbed knit provides high wearing comfort on its own.
Made of skin-friendly Merino wool – pleasantly warm and almost indestructible.
Close and densely knit, the pullover is almost windproof. Furthermore, the natural lanolin acts as a light waterproofing: Individual drops or melting snowflakes simply roll off the knitted fabric and do not penetrate the fibres.
Warm enough for outside, cosy enough for at home.
The button placket on the left shoulder makes it easier to get on and off. Pullover with dark blue label buttons and ribbed cuffs.
Straight cut. Length in size 40: 72cm (28.3″). Colour: Marine/Off white. 100% virgin wool. Handwash. Made in France.
