Pima Cotton Knitted Blouson Jacket

As fashionable as a blouson. Yet much more comfortable.

Jacket made of hand-picked Peruvian Pima cotton.

In contrast to the many trendy blousons made of woven fabrics, this comfortable elasticated jacket gives you plenty of freedom of movement. It is elaborately fashioned using two different coloured threads, resulting in the lively mottled look.
Typical of Pima cotton: The soft feel, subtle sheen and excellent shape-retention.
Pima cotton is also called the “Silk of South America” because it only grows really well under the climatic conditions of Peru. Here it reaches a fineness of 3.2 - 3.9 micrometers (in comparison, US-American pima cotton is considerably coarser at 4.6 - 5.5 micrometers). It is one of the extra-long-staple cotton varieties, which accounts for a maximum of only 2 - 3% of the world’s cotton harvest. And in Peru, pima cotton is still picked and sorted by hand. Harvested this way, it is free from chemicals and therefore particularly kind to your skin.
