Lambskin Flying Jacket “B3”

  • Authentic look. Pleasantly warm.
  • Comfortable, casual style with practical details.

A legend: The B3, the flying jacket of the US Army Air Corps of 1934.

Nowadays made of light, supple curly lambskin.

It was the pride of every American pilot and the most important part of the warm winter equipment of the US Army Air Corps: The lambskin flying jacket B3 introduced in 1934. Numerous heroes in films have made it famous. And today, it is one of the everlasting fashion classics.
Authentic look. Pleasantly warm.
There was nothing to improve in terms of the look, but unlike the original, this jacket is supple, soft and considerably lighter. Instead of traditional sheepskin, rare curly lambskin has been used. This is particularly delicate and has an extremely fine pile.
Comfortable, casual style with practical details.
The cut has also been improved. Previously, the jacket was tight fitting and had a rather uncomfortable cut. This one has a straight, spacious cut and offers plenty of freedom of movement – when gliding, driving a soft-top or motorcycling, having a snowball fight or going for a winter walk. You can close the high fur collar against cold drafts with the double storm tabs. And with the two-sided buckle tabs, you can adjust the waistband to fit your hip width. Two deep slanted pockets are wonderfully cosy to “bury” your hands in. Featuring foldable (and thus length adjustable) sleeves.

Straight, generous cut. Length in size 40: 72cm (28.3″). Colour: Coffee brown. Genuine lambskin. Specialist dry clean only. Exclusive to Fashion Classics.
