Cult classic Harrington jacket – now made of weatherproof waxed cotton.

High tech from traditional weaver Templemoyle.

The clean cut, straight zipped jacket with a blouson waistband, stand-up collar, (flap) slash pockets and checked lining has its origins in Manchester in the 1930s. However, its name and its fashionable cult status only came about due to Rodney Harrington, the protagonist of the successful sixties’ television series “Peyton Place”. The waxed cotton fabric now gives this classic a weatherproof update.
Wind and water-repellent, breathable, supple and soft.
At traditional weavers Templemoyle, founded in 1791, “Waxed Cotton” means pure cotton and not one of today’s popular polyester/cotton blends. Special micro waxes form a protective layer against rain and wind. The breathability of the cotton remains fully intact.

Contemporary slim cut with back flap and one inside pocket. Length in size 40: 68cm (26.8"). Colour: Olive. Shell and lining: 100% cotton. Machine washable. Exclusive to Fashion Classics.
