Tartan scarves are everywhere now. Yet only a few are registered tartans.
Original Thompson Camel Modern pattern. Pure lambs wool. Made in Scotland by Lochcarron.
No meaninglessly made-up check and no cheap copy. You are wearing a legendary original tartan from Scotland. Initially designed for Lord Thompson of Fleet and registered by Lord Lyon in 1958. It is woven in one of Scotland’s oldest traditional houses, Lochcarron of Scotland (founded in 1892), holding a treasure of about 500 registered original tartans in its archives.
Light. Soft. Warm.
While many woollen scarves are uncomfortably scratchy, this one feels beautifully smooth and soft against the skin. The colour combination of camel, red, white and black looks more elegant than the rather rustic red and heavily green Scottish checks – and matches many jackets and coats.
195 x 70cm (76.8" x 27.6"). Colour: Beige/red/white/blue/black. 100% wool. Dry cleaning. Made in Scotland.
