Fashionable patterns, trendy colours. But traditionally knitted in Scotland.
Colour block beanie and striped scarf by young Belgian label Howlin'.
Based in fashion city Antwerp, the Belgian trend label Howlin' creates up-to-date designs such as these three-colour knitted accessories with geometric stripes and colour fields. They are knitted in a long-established artisanal firm in Scotland because, unlike many trend labels, Howlin' relies on high-quality craftsmanship instead of fast fashion.
Combed lambswool, double-brushed with thistle twigs, resulting in a fluffy softness.
Howlin' also makes no compromises when it comes to yarn quality: Selected long-staple fibres, carefully combed, smoothen the otherwise often somewhat coarse lambswool. Brushed by hand, the surface becomes beautifully fluffy, without losing its masculine character.
Wonderfully versatile colour palette.
The beanie with wide ribbed turn-up trim is divided into three colour fields, the double scarf in three differently striped blocks. You can mix up the look by reversing which side you wear or how you tie the scarf.
Size of the scarf: 194 x 21cm (76.4" x 8.3"). Colour: Grey/green/blue. 100% virgin wool. Hand wash. Made in Scotland.
