Lyonnais Glasses, Set of 6

  • A stylish combination of historical glassware and contemporary design.
  • Stunning, sturdy and surprisingly affordable.

Renaissance grace and elegance captured in pressed Lyonnais glass by La Rochère, established 1475.

From the oldest, still active glass factory in France, famous for their beautiful glassware.

Lyon was an important silk weaving centre during the Renaissance period (15th/16th century) and renowned for the delicate embroidered patterns that were produced. The artistic, interlaced motif on these glasses reminds one of such elaborate patterns. This teardrop embossed design resembles gemstones and gives the glass its tactile relief that offers a pleasantly firm grip in the hand.
A stylish combination of historical glassware and contemporary design.
Inspired by luxurious glassware that was hand made in the style of the Florentine Renaissance in 1870, the modern take on these glasses also features the relief design that was popular then. In a sparkling grey hue, these distinctive pressed glasses are durable, yet add instant chic to any table setting.
Stunning, sturdy and surprisingly affordable.
With their thick sides, softly rounded upper rim, typical side „seam“ and sturdy stem, these glasses easily withstand everyday use – and they‘re even dishwasher safe.
