To this day, the Porsche Type 547 racing engine is considered unique in the racing world. Constructed by Ernst Fuhrmann in 1952/1953, the legendary 1.5-litre racing unit was mainly used in the Spyder 550 and the Porsche 356, and brought significant victories for the company from Zuffenhausen. In the Porsche 550 Spyder, the four-cylinder boxer engine powered the first thoroughbred Porsche racing car: With 110 hp and a top speed of 220 km/h.

Based on original drawings and in close cooperation with the Porsche Museum, this 300-piece kit was produced on a 1:3 scale. In about 5 hours you can construct a much-to-be-admired functional model out of it – with moving engine components and original boxer sound.
