Exceptionally chunky, unexpectedly light: Silver jewellery in lattice design with a gold coloured lustre.

Designed using the most modern 3D printers.

Only in exceptional cases, is superb, precious silver jewellery so filigreed and pleasantly light. Traditionally, chunkier means heavier. But now Thomas Mrokon, the designer of large buildings and planetariums, has used his experience as an architect to design this particularly hefty jewellery with a lattice structure. It’s unexpectedly easy to make.
The combination of engineering and a goldsmithʼs knowledge. High quality, made in Germany.
First, he designs the patterns using a computer-aided design program (CAD). A 3D printer then forms a wax model for each piece of jewellery from which a mould is created. The silver blank is carefully polished, plated on both sides with yellow gold and polished again. The expressive crystal pattern shimmers with a cool silver tone on the outside. On the inside and around the contours it has a warm golden shimmer. An effect that is always different, making each piece unique.
The ring is effectively doubled. Very smooth on the inside and outside. 1.5cm (0.6") wide. Weight: 14g (0.5 oz) in ring size 56. Made of 925 sterling silver, 5 micron yellow gold plated.
