Artful design: A wine bottle lantern.
Atmospheric lighting for an al fresco candlelit dinner.
The green glass cylinder actually comes from a genuine wine bottle and is more robust than most lanterns. The firm base is made of locally sourced solid oak, which is also used for making wine barrels.
The green glass gently softens the glow of the tea light.
Practical for lighting the tea light and cleaning: The glass cylinder can simply be lifted upwards. The slots on the sides of the wooden base supply the flame with oxygen. The wood is carefully oiled, which makes it impervious to stains. Holder for classic tea lights with a diameter of 3.9cm (1.5").

The “wine light” was awarded the Early Bird design prize at the “Hamburger Einkaufstage” (HET; Hamburg Shopping Days) trade fair in 2010. Design: Jette Scheib, Berlin. Size: 28cm (11") high, diameter: 7.5cm (3"). Weight: Approx. 580g (20.5 oz).
