Unlike conventional climbing aids, this climbing frame adapts in various ways to plant growth. Simply move the horizontal double bars as needed: In height and in distance from each other. Thus, both larger and smaller shoots are gently supported. Nothing bends or is damaged by binding material.

“Air-cut” describes the behaviour of the root tip as soon as it hits the wall of a plant pot and encounters the outside air. Instead of continuing to grow, it forms new side roots, which in turn form new shoots when they come into contact with air. This creates a highly branched root system. The more new root tips emerge, the more nutrients are absorbed, and the healthier and stronger the plant. In airtight plastic pots, on the other hand, the roots simply continue to grow when they are pushed against the vessel wall. This results in ineffective, thin spiral roots, which twist into balls, cling to the bottom of the pot and absorb hardly any nutrients.
