Perfect comfort for our four-legged friends: Cosy stuffed beds with sheep’s wool and natural Swiss pine.
The essential oils of the Swiss stone pine: Well-proven feel-good aroma for a good night’s sleep.
The people of the Alpine region have been using the wood of the stone pine (Pinus cembra), which emits a wonderfully fine, resinous fragrance, since ancient times. Its positive properties on one‘s well-being have been scientifically proven for years*. With these Swiss pine beds, your pets can also benefit from the soothing effects.
Natural, snuggly and cosy.
The natural filling consists of warm sheep‘s wool and approx. 20% of soft pinewood flakes, which enhances the natural elasticity of the sheep’s wool. The filling remains wonderfully soft, light and airy, and always maintains the right temperature for a good sleeping environment. The zipped cover made of natural cotton is washable at 30°C. Replacement covers are available separately.
Bacteria and germs don’t stand a chance.
Swiss pine contains pinosylvin: A fragrance that is both anti-microbial and antibacterial. The sheep’s wool also has deodorising and self-cleaning properties due to its lanolin (wool oil). Simply air regularly and the bed remains hygienically clean (not washable). Cover made of 100% cotton. Filling: 80% sheep wool and 20% pinewood flakes. The cat bed measures 80 x 60cm (31.5" x 23.6") and weighs approx. 0.8kg (1.8 lbs). Dog bed: 100 x 75cm (39.4" x 29.5"), approx. 1kg (2.2 lbs).
The positive effects of the Swiss stone pine are scientifically confirmed: It reduces the heart rate.Swiss pine contains natural pinosylvin. This substance helps to reduce the heart rate by up to 9 beats/minute during sleep. The heart is thus spared about 1 hour of ‚work‘ per day. The Joanneum Research Institute has tested and confirmed the effect in a blind study with Swiss pine furniture on 30 healthy adults.
