Each espresso spoon showcases the unique design language of each architect. From Alessi.

In 2003 the firm Alessi invited 22 top architects to offer a new perspective on coffee and tea sets for their ”Tea & Coffee Towers” project. Eight of the participants designed these espresso spoons.
Various experimental shapes – as unique as the handwriting of the famous architects themselves.
Choose from the minimalist designs by Jean Nouvel and Denton Corker Marshall or opt for the asymmetrical spoon designed byHani Rashid. Wiel Arets, Doriana and Massimiliano Fuksas have created dainty leaf silhouettes. The corrugated design by William Alsop is ornate, while the designs of Toyo Ito and David Chipperfield are kept clean and simple.
Made of polished, partially matt 18/10 stainless steel. Size approx 10cm (3.9") L. Weight approx. 12g (0.4 oz) each. Dishwasher safe. Also perfectly suitable for small desserts, plus it makes a great gift too.

The designers belng to the crème de la crème from the international world of architecture. In Germany David Chipperfield is especially known for his masterplan for the Berlin Museum Island and the reconstruction of central Berlin. Star architect Denton Corker Marshal has won all awards from the Royal Institute of British Architects. Hani Rashid, who is from Canadian Egyptian origin, is a professor at the University of Applied Arts in Vienna and his visionary constructions have been awarded many times. Massimiliano Fuksas has designed, among other things, the Vienna Twin Tower and the new Fiera Milano. The Dutch architect Wiel Arets has also won several awards for his products, e.g. the Good Design Award. Jean Nouvel, architect of the opera of Lyon, has been awarded the prestigious Pritzker Prize. The London architect and painter Will Alsop designed the Peckham library, for which he received the Stirling Prize. Toyo Itos received among others the Gold Medal of the Royal Institute of British Architects.
