The softly rounded rectangular design is very much in fashion. However, the technique used to make the fine hammered surface structure is over 300 years old – and still handmade to this day.
Nowadays a rare and almost lost form of art.
Marks are applied next to each other with a hammer and punch (to create the “hammered finish”). The result is the fine and dense structure with subtly shaped indentations. Only a few skilled craftsmen are masters of this technique – just learning the basics takes 20 months of training.
The polished stainless steel will always stay shiny.
No special care required – simply wipe with a damp cloth. The invisibly welded seams are absolutely watertight. This allows you to lavishly decorate individual blossoms. Magnificent bouquets will unfold beautifully in the square opening.
