More versatile than 6 basics: The striped polo neck by John Smedley.
Fine stripes in 6 colours for a slender look.
Particularly thin stripes in many different colours are figure-flattering. However, they are rather hard to find because they are time-consuming and expensive to make. Most manufacturers therefore prefer using fast machines with few needles to produce broad stripes (which make you look wider).
Fine merino wool knitted to shape in 30 gauge.
This polo neck will never scratch because it has been knitted using single thread merino wool. The 6 stripes are reminiscent of nostalgic sticks of rock and can be worn with many solid colours: Fuchsia, red, pink, beige, off-white and brown.
John Smedley also produces for the major couture companies.
The traditional company was established in 1784 and is world famous as a leading producer of fine knitwear. John Smedley is the last English knitwear producer to make 30 gauge knitwear. This polo neck is also made this way: You can’t get any finer. This polo neck will fit perfectly thanks to its fully-fashioned manufacture and will stay in shape even after many washes. Length in size 12: 60cm (23 2⁄3"). Pure virgin wool (merino super fine). Machine wash at 40°C.
