Private conversations or corporate intelligence – protect yourself from bugging devices.
Now with extended frequency range up to 3 GHz. Also detects concealed video cameras.
The boom in personal surveillance and industrial espionage continues. Sophisticated bugging devices are becoming smaller and easier to conceal – and 2.4 GHz video cameras are increasingly being used. Traditional detectors are only effective within a range up to 1 GHz. However, you can protect yourself with this new Bug Detector, which operates in a frequency range from 50 MHz to 3 GHz. It will not only pick up active video cameras and mobile telephones but ordinary VHF and UHF transmitters as well. All this at a very reasonable price.
Child’s play to use.
The small antenna “scans” your rooms for radio waves emitted by the bugging devices. If the detector picks up any such signals, it sounds the alarm. The closer you are to the bug, the shorter the interval between the repeated alarm signals and the flashing of the LEDs. You can activate the visual display to work on its own if extra discretion is required. This way you can slowly isolate the miniature spy – in the telephone, under the table or wherever else it may be.
Should the display or audible alarm reach its limits, just turn down the sensitivity regulator slightly. Depending on the transmitter, the Bug Detector will already respond at a distance of several metres. Also useful in hotels and on business trips abroad.
The latest microtechnology largely rules out false alarms.
Measures only 8 x 18 x 2.5cm (3" x 7" x 1") (W x H x D). Weighs approx. 180g (6.3oz). 9V battery available separately. 3-year Pro-Idee guarantee.
A sensible investment, compared to the value of your private life or your commercial secrets.
