A real orchid – gilded with shiny gold.
Everlasting beauty: The queen of the tropical forest, plated in 24 ct gold.
Even the most expensive necklaces look dull next to this genuine and sumptuously gold-plated orchid. The blossom is cut at its most splendid and then coated in copper and stiffened. This keeps the magnificent unfurled shape making it ready for the finishing touches where it is immersed in an electrolyte bath of fine 24 carat gold. In contrast to manual gold-plating, this galvanising method makes the petals’ delicate structure more visible. This valuable piece of jewellery is then polished by hand and carefully inspected once more. The finished product is always a genuine and natural one-off.
Separately available: The matching chain.
This chain will turn your gilded orchid into an attractive eye-catcher. The 925 sterling silver has a 3 micron plate of 24 carat gold.
The orchid is about 2cm (3⁄4") in diameter and weighs around 1.5g. The chain is 42cm (16 1⁄2") long and weighs around 3.6 grams. Each supplied with an elegant gift box.
The original “Ascocenda Sagarik Gold” is one of the most delicate orchids.
Of course, the Ascocenda orchid named after the “Father of Thai Orchids” (Prof. Rapee Sagarik) is not environmentally protected, but is grown specifically for this exclusive jewellery. Only perfect blossoms pass the experts’ close scrutiny. |
