Its anatomical shape gives the foot the support so often missing in ordinary open sandals. The heel is softly padded. The napped leather lining and the toe grips prevent your foot from slipping too far forward.

More than 5,000 years ago, the foot was protected by fur bound with leather straps. The Romans developed this “original shoe” into the first stable footwear for mankind: A sandal with a solid sole and braided straps – the famous Roman sandal. Nowadays, it has been adapted for the current trend and is absolutely bang on trend. Yet it’s made for more comfort: In tough yet supple calfskin which has been softly roughened on the inside. The taupe coloured sandals are made of nubuck, the black and white sandals are smooth leather. The wide ankle strap has a practical click buckle and can be adjusted in width. The EVA outsole has a contoured non-slip tread.
