Looks like a modern coarse knit. Except it’s lightweight, soft, and not too warm.
The coarse knit pullover in airy summer cashmere.
Thick needles and delicate yarn create beautiful, light, fluffy stitches which are exceptionally airy – and far less warm than one would expect. The advantage of this loose, “out-of-gauge” knitting method is the relatively low material consumption. As a result, this cashmere pullover is available at an amazingly good price despite its first-rate origins.
The finest, unprocessed long-staple cashmere from the best source in the world – Inner Mongolia.
Only in these icy regions does the fleecy undercoat of the Cashmere goats grow to be this dense and fine. It is carefully brushed out and painstakingly sorted. Every hair must be at least 38-40mm long and 15-16 microns thin. Fibres which are too short are rejected as only the long ones have little tendency to pill and are suitable for durable cashmere knitwear which stays beautiful for many years.
A timeless classic for many years.
An alternating pattern of smooth knit and purl sections add a lively, interesting appearance to the solid coloured pullover. The versatile milky brown looks perfect with all autumn colours. And the stand up collar protects the neck but is not as warm as a poloneck. Length for size 10/12: 62cm (24 2⁄5"). 100% cashmere. Hand wash. Exclusive to Fashion Classics.
