These ski jackets and pants from the Swiss company Storm® have a fashionably slim cut, but without restricting. They don’t appear bulky like so many of the bulgy, padded ski ensembles. However, you can still enjoy a pleasantly warm and dry climate. Rugged yet light, they are not only suited for skiing but are also perfect for snow hiking, après-ski, jogging, walking, cycling… You can even wear the jacket in the city. Unsusceptible to creases and tears, the jacket and pants – which are very slim when folded – take up little room in your suitcase.

This high-tech fabric is extremely elastic and makes the slimline cut possible. The high-performance membrane Dermizax™ is laminated onto the fabric. Heat is perfectly insulated. No wind, no moisture (up to 20,000mm water column) can penetrate (conventional ski clothing usually only reaches a water column of up to 5,000mm). Moisture, however, is immediately wicked away to the outside so you are always surrounded by a fresh, dry body climate.
Micro-fine PCM capsules in the back section of the jackets balance extreme temperature fluctuations.
This technology was originally developed for space travel. The active microcapsules are on the rear side of the fleecy soft polyester fabric. They store excess heat and give it off when needed. When it is hot, these micro-fine capsules liquify and store heat. If the temperature cools down again, the capsules crystallize and radiate the resulting energy – like a heating system – in the form of warmth. Temperature peaks are adjusted and the body is supported in maintaining its ideal temperature – without perspiring, without freezing. The material withstands machine washing without loosing its properties.
Fully welded seams, glued zipper pockets as well as plastic coated buttons block out the cold and wet.
Special hook and loop fasteners will not, for example, catch in your woollen pullover.
Jacket: Storm flaps over the front zipper insulate against wind and weather. Extra press studs at the hip for additional adjustment. Removable snow catcher and hood in the collar. One each of inner net and zip pocket, one sleeve pocket. Glove pocket at chest height. For ladies in white. Upper material 100% polyester (Dermizax™ ). Lining 100% polyester with PCM micro-capsules.
Pants: With kidney warmer, ergonomically shaped knee section, shoe cover and adjustable waistband. Colour: Black.
