You can spend a fortune on a cashmere jacket – and still be disappointed in the quality. But this one will thrill you from the first time you touch it: The cashmere comes from the best source in the world – Inner Mongolia. The luxurious jacket is made in Italy in the Amadeo Ferrante family enterprise. And you won’t pay a fortune for it either as marketing costs are kept low.
Only the downy soft undercoat of the cashmere goat will do.
The extremely thin (13.5 micron) and up to 80mm long fibres are painstakingly combed out by hand and spun into a 2-ply yarn. The quality is a dream: Especially soft and fluffy – no pilling, no lint. The jacket has perfect proportions thanks to the form fitted knit. The generous length, the elongating and slightly tailored 1-button style, the smooth knit with its soft drape and the unnoticeable slant pockets which don’t bulk, all add up to a slimming silhouette. The unusual shawl collar draws attention to the décolleté. The charcoal colour is not as harsh as black – just as versatile but more flattering to the complexion. The front closes with one button. Length for size 12: 81cm (32"). 100% cashmere. Hand wash.
