Gordon Merchant created his first board shorts back in 1973 on his kitchen table: He wanted to make a living while giving himself as much time for surfing as possible. His plan worked! Today the company has global sales of 1,000,000 pairs of board shorts a year. Billabongs are Australia’s No. 1. Even “non-surfers” appreciate the fast-drying, soft, colourfast, high-tech material and the robust workmanship – as much as the non-slip waistband and practical lacing.
Radiant colours. Complex print.
The swimming shorts are covered in colourful fins, whilst the brown background tones the shorts down, despite their wealth of colours. Meanwhile, the linear gradation and colourful separating lines are an interesting alternative to simple striped patterns. Thanks to the versatile range of colours, these shorts can be worn with a far greater range of clothes than most colourful Bermuda shorts. All genuine Billabong shorts are still supplied with surfing accessories, e.g. a wax comb and a fin key. Inner leg in size 32": 26cm (10 1⁄4"). 100% polyester. Machine wash at 30°C in the delicate cycle.
