Fashion Classics has managed to source a limited number of these shirts direct from Hawaii, naturally from Reyn Spooner, who began production in Honolulu with a single sewing machine back in 1956.

The classic hibiscus design is absolutely typical for Hawaii, like the lei garlands which are given to greet visitors on arrival. (In 1988, the hibiscus flower was even officially elected as the state’s national flower). The low-key colour combination in subtle earthy tones on a blue background is sure to work with everything. And looks much better when worn in Europe than the normally very bright floral patterned shirts for which Hawaii is so famous.  
Classy vintage look with the inside out.
This blurs the contours of the floral design giving it its fabulous vintage look. This processing method has been a Reyn Spooner speciality since 1963. With extremely strong seams thanks to the special cotton-covered synthetic thread. The shirt is casually cut with a breast pocket and lapel collar and also looks good worn untucked over trousers. Length in Size 40/42: 75cm (29 1⁄2"). 100% cotton. Machine wash at 30°C. Made in Hawaii. Exclusive to Fashion Classics.
