The linen shirt in a trendy vintage style. With the long forgotten comfort of way back when.
Hand-woven based on old patterns: Soft, resists creases and stays in shape. By Elemente Clemente.
A panel of elegant hand-woven linen lay forgotten in a French depot for over 100 years. Today it is this casual vintage shirt which is based on that find: The linen specialist Elemente Clemente has assigned a small traditional manufactory to recreate this fabric on hand looms. In a quality which hasn’t been available like this for quite some time.
Much softer with the ability to stay in shape longer compared to typical linen shirts.
The weave is dense and firm which makes the refreshing fabric softer, more hardwearing, and less prone to creases than you’ve come to expect from linen. No comparison to the typically thin shirts which often wear out after only wearing them for a short while.
Elaborate piece dying gives it the coveted vintage look.
The lively structure is full of character and is particularly noticeable on the button panel, collar, and the patch chest pocket. The comfortable side slits make it great to wear loosely over your trousers. Regular fit. Length for size 40: 75cm (29 1⁄2"). 100% linen. Machine wash at 40°C.
