Leather field jackets are casual, contemporary and extremely versatile. But unlike most others, this jacket isn’t stiff and heavy, but beautifully soft weighing in at a mere 1,500g (3.3 lbs). Rare New Zealand lambskin leather was used rather than conventional cowhide. The skins of the young sheep are particularly soft, mainly free of scars and very even in texture.
Antique finish gives the jacket character.
The exquisite rugged patina is a characteristic of high-quality leather when it ages. It is achieved by an elaborate, 2-step procedure: With a special washing after tanning combined with a subsequent hand-finish.
6 storage places for all the essentials.
The 4 large patch pockets with flaps are a typical field jacket feature. This one also has an additional zipped breast pocket and 2 inside pockets. The front zip closure is protected from the wind under a storm flap which has solid metal snap fastenings. The drawstring on the inside of the jacket lets you adjust it at the waist – the side buckles are purely decorative. Length in size 40: 80cm (31 1⁄2"). Genuine lambskin leather. Lining 100% polyester. Colour: Brown.
