Looking at it from the outside it looks like a standard door peephole. But hidden behind the glass viewer is a tiny lens from a 1.3 megapixel video camera. From the inside the door peephole is equipped with a 2.5" colour LCD. At the touch of a button you can see who is standing outside – up to a distance of 10m (11 yds) and at a maximum 96° viewing angle. Zoom in if you like. Even in the dim light of dusk. No fish-eye distortion (as is so often the case with simple door peepholes). And visitors won’t even notice you are looking.
Easy to swap with your standard door peephole. No drilling, no screws, no gluing.
Simply place the head and casing into the existing door hole and attach the 14.6 x 9 x 3cm (5 3⁄4" x 3 1⁄2" x 1 1⁄5") (W x H x D) screen unit. Weighs approx. 180g (6.3 oz). Works with 2 AA batteries (supplied) for approx. 6 months.
With 12mm (1⁄2") diam. peephole for door thickness ranging from 35 to 57mm (1 2⁄5" to 2 1⁄3"). Or 14mm (2⁄3") diam. for 40 to 69mm (1 2⁄3" to 2 3⁄4").
